Man robs Belfast cafe with crossbow

A man armed with a crossbow has robbed a café in north Belfast.

He targeted the premises on Shore Road at 5.50pm on Monday, then made off towards the Graymount area.

He is described as being aged in his early 20s, approximately 5’8” tall and was wearing a white jacket and black bottoms.

Detective Constable Ian Austin said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Reactive and Organised Crime at Musgrave Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

"Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
