Man shot in the knees during west Belfast attack
A man is in hospital being treated for bullet wounds to both knees after being shot in a paramilitary-style attack in Belfast yesterday.
Two masked gunmen shot the 48-year-old victim in Iveagh Parade in the west of the city shortly before 4pm.
They fled on foot in the direction of nearby Nansen Street.
The man’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Detectives at Grosvenor Road PSNI station have appealed for witnesses to the shooting.
