Man stabbed by four hooded men in north Belfast

A man has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed in the arm at the front door of his house by four hooded men in north Belfast.

Police are appealing for information following the incident in the Strathroy Park area on Wednesday November 25.

Just after 6.15pm, police received a report that a 28-year-old man had been stabbed in the arm at the front door of his house by four hooded males.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

Inspector McCullough said: "I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Tennent Street Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

"Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
