Martin McGuinness meets staff at Orange Order stall
Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness has met with representatives of the Orange Order at the Balmoral Show.
The senior Sinn Fein man was on a tour of the show when he visited the Institution's stand and spoke briefly with staff.
This is the first year the Orange Order has had a stand at the show for five years.
A spokesman from the Orange Order said staff told Mr McGuinness about two new outreach centres due to open in Belfast and Loughgall in the next month.
The spokesman said Mr McGuinness was "personally presented with documentation detailing the murder of Orangemen by the IRA and ongoing republican attacks on Orange property".
He said the "issue of remorse was also raised directly with the Sinn Fein representative, by a member of staff".
"The Orange Institution has a proud culture and heritage, and is keen to promote this at every opportunity," he said.
