Masked men armed with a crow bar and a sledgehammer have robbed a Domino's in south Belfast.

It happened on Tuesday September 13 on the Lisburn Road.

At around 6am, two masked men entered the fast food restaurant armed with a crow bar and a sledgehammer.

They made off with a safe containing a sum of money.

A male staff member, aged in his 20s, was not injured in the incident.

The two men were dressed in dark clothing and gloves.

Detective Inspector Nigel Snoddy said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 126 of 13/09/16.

"Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
