Almost 500 runners have taken part in the Gosford 10k, the second race in this year's Belfast Telegraph Run Forest Run Series organised by Born2Run Events.

The race started on Saturday morning at 11am in the Co Armagh forest park, which comprises some 240 hectares of diverse woodland and open parkland. William McKee crossed the finish line first, completing the 10k in 33mins 49secs.

The course is a mixture of road and forest track taking you through dense woodland and past Gosford Castle which has featured in Game of Thrones.

Runners also passed red deer grazing close to the start and finish line.

Earlier this month, hundreds of runners put their best foot forward in south Belfast to tackle Minnowburn and the Mary Peters Track in our first forest run.
