Meet the police dogs who helped uncover a multi-million pound fuel smuggling operation.

Eight men were arrested and 55,000 litres of fuel were seized following a joint PSNI and HMRC swoop on homes across Northern Ireland as part of an investigation into a £3million fuel smuggling ring.

Homes and businesses were also raided in parts of England.

On Friday, the PSNI praised officers Oscar, Kato and Benson for their efforts in the operation.

"Not so cute and definitely not so friendly to criminals," police said in a Facebook post along with a picture of two of the plucky pups.
