Two men have been arrested after a burglary at a house in Dunmurry.

A man forced his way into a house in the Ashgrove area of Dunmurry in the early hours of Sunday morning and took the keys to the occupant's car.

Police said that the blue Ford B-Max was reported as being driven dangerously in the Seymour Hill area a short time later.

Inspector Roy Burnside said: “Police responded and pursuit trained officers followed the stolen car along the Bell Steel Road to where it was then abandoned at Woodside View. The two men were arrested following a search of the area and remain in custody assisting with police enquiries.”

“ I would ask anyone who saw a blue ford B-max being driven in the Dunmurry area between 1.40am and 2.15am or who has any information to contact police in Woodbourne on 101 quoting reference 143 17/07/16. Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
