Met Office issues severe weather warning for weekend
The Met Office has issued a 'yellow warning' of heavy rain set to hit the east of Northern Ireland this weekend.
Counties Antrim, Armagh and Down are expected to be worst hit.
"Localised flooding is possible and driving conditions will be difficult due to surface water and spray on the roads, the Met office said.
"A band of heavy rain will move north across the warning area with widespread 15-20 mm, isolated 30mm, expected in a six to nine hour period. Additionally, a spell of snow will bring a few centimetres to high ground, mainly above 200 metres."
Sailings of the Rathlin Ferry service have been cancelled, but the Strangford Lough ferry service is operating normally.
The public are also being encouraged to report any floodings to the authorities, using the Flooding Incident Line on 0300 2000 100.
