Missing murderer back in custody

A murderer has been returned to custody after he failed to observe a curfew.

Patrick Byers, 29, is serving a life sentence at Maghaberry but had been living at home as part of a release scheme, the Prison Service said. He was posted unlawfully at large yesterday.

He was one of seven prisoners being sought by the authorities.
