Moira stabbing: Woman charged with attempted murder after man left seriously injured

A 36-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Moira.

The incident happened in the Manor Court area of Moira at around 2am on Monday.

A man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after he was stabbed.

The 54-year-old was rushed to hospital following the incident.

As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.

The woman is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Wednesday January 13.

A 21-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident was released on bail pending further enquiries on the evening of Monday January 11.
