Motorcyclist dies after Belfast motorway collision
One person died following a road crash on the M2 in Belfast.
The victim, a motorcyclist, was killed last night in a one-vehicle collision on the countrybound motorway.
According to police the road was closed for a time and traffic was diverted off at the Greencastle Junction.
It is the second road death in the space of 24 hours after an 80-year-old man was killed driving a quad bike outside Larne.
Ussher McIlwaine died after his vehicle collided with a car on the Ballysnod Road on Tuesday evening.
The deaths bring the total number of those killed on Northern Ireland's roads to 43 this year.
