Motorcyclist dies in road crash

A motorcyclist has died after a road crash near Larne.

The 39-year-old man was riding a Suzuki bike on the Shanes Hill road when he was in collision with a Renault Scenic car in the area of Killwaughter, around three miles outside the town.

The fatal incident happened around 11am on Saturday.

Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Shanes Hill Road at the time to contact them.
