Murder probe after man found beaten
A murder inquiry is under way after a man was found injured at his home in west Belfast and later died.
Relatives of Seamus Holland, 55, found him lying in the kitchen, beaten in the head and face.
Detectives from the PSNI serious crime branch said they were following a definite line of inquiry. They want to trace two young men who were seen in the area of Mr Holland's home after the assault.
He died at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Sunday hours after he was found at his home at Upton Court, Glen Road.
Detective Chief Inspector Debbie McMaster said: "We want to speak to anyone who was in the area of Upton Court and Norfolk Grove in the early hours of Sunday morning and saw or heard anything untoward, perhaps an argument or a physical confrontation.
"We are also keen to speak to two young males who were seen in that area shortly after the assault took place as they may have vital information for this investigation."
