Nadine Coyle takes Lorraine show make-up criticism on the chin with 'online tutorial'
What's the best way to respond to criticism? Well, according to Nadine Coyle, it's humour.
The former Girls Aloud Star from Londonderry was ridiculed last week when she appeared on ITV's Lorraine with a yellow-tinged face which in the studio lights appeared to be a different colour to her neck.
Twitter was ablaze as onlookers pointed out the make-up faux pas.
But the singer hit back with humour by taking the criticism, er, on the chin as she posted a 'make-up tutorial' - featuring some slightly unusual products.
The Instagram video shows the 30-year-old in the bathroom applying her make up as usual.
Someone off-camera then asks what is she doing.
She replies: "I am just back from B&Q, buying some foundation, and getting ready for tonight. Is this the right shade?"
As she shows the pot of yellow paint to the camera before pretending to apply it on her jawline.
The singer was praised for her humorous approach to the criticism.
One said: "Love it".
Another said: "Nadine it was totally the lighting in the studio! Seriously! Derry girls don't do things like that. Nadine Coyle the most beautiful girl in the world".
Another said: "Love it. You can take the girl out of Derry and all that. Humour on point."
