Nearly naked woman on giant Christmas plate in Belfast city centre Peta stunt

Belfast shoppers got a surprise as they encountered a nearly naked woman lying on a giant Christmas plate in the city centre.

Complete with to-scale cutlery, brussel sprouts and gravy the message is to get people to "try to relate to who's on your plate. Go Vegan".

Passers-by stopped to take photographs of the woman who was lying outside Castle Court on Wednesday.

The stunt is in a bid to encourage passers-by to consider that turkeys "feel pain just as humans do".

PETA Director Elisa Allen: “PETA is encouraging people to extend the holiday spirit of peace and goodwill to all by leaving animals off their plates this Christmas.
