Police are no longer treating the death of a mother-of-four at her Newtownards home as suspicious.

Joanne Thompson (33) was found by a relative at her home in Old Mill Court in the town on Wednesday July 13.

Police appealed for witnesses to a fight at a bonfire in the West Winds estate on the Eleventh Night, which they thought may have been connected to the death.

But on Friday July 22, 2016 police said they were no longer treating the death as suspicious.

A spokesman said: "Police are no longer treating the death of Joanne Thompson in Newtownards last week as suspicious following the results of a number of tests."
