Nightclub brings 60 new jobs

Up to 60 new jobs are to be created with the launch of a new nightclub in Belfast city centre, it has been confirmed.

Chinawhite, which operates clubs for the rich and famous in London and Dubai, is to open on Franklin Street next month.

Paul Langsford, director of Chinawhite Belfast said : "Chinawhite will be a high end, luxurious and comfortable venue, focusing on an excellent standard of table service.

"Our target customer will be focused on 25 years old and over and will be like no other Belfast night club experience."

The new club is the second phase of a £1 million redevelopment of a 112-year-old building.

Mr Langsford added: "This is the second phase of our three-part development which will transform entertainment and night life in the Linen Quarter."

The club will be spread over two floors and will have an Asian-style rooftop garden overlooking the city.

Chinawhite management said they were "excited" to be in Belfast.
