Nine children in hospital after Lough Neagh canoe trip rescue
Sixteen people have been rescued from Lough Neagh after getting into difficulty while on a canoe trip.
Nine children and one adult were taken to Antrim Hospital for treatment after they got into difficulty in bad weather on Wednesday evening.
Some of those involved are thought to be as young 14.
It's understood the call for help was made shortly before 6pm at Ardboe in Co Tyrone.
Three life boat crews spent around two hours rescuing the group, with a support team assisting on shore.
A spokesman for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said those taken to hospital were being treated for "slight exposure".
