The PSNI has issued a reminder on New Years morning that no amount of coffee or a shower will sober you up.
Many people may be feeling hungover this morning following last night's New Year celebrations, and the PSNI has warned that neither coffee nor a shower will sober you up, only time will.

The PSNI carried out a crack-down on drink driving in December, setting up more than 1,000 random check points across Northern Ireland.
A Stormont law change has handed officers in Northern Ireland the ability to randomly test people without reasonable suspicion of an offence.
Previously, a car could only be pulled over if it appeared the driver was under the influence.
