Northern Ireland councils 'ill prepared' for influx of Syrian refugees
Two of Northern Ireland's largest councils have said they are not receiving enough information to prepare for the refugees who are due to arrive from Syria.
Up to 100 refugees fleeing Isis are due to arrive in the country before Christmas.
An Operational Planning Group has been set up by the government and strategies have been put in place to deal with the numbers coming in.
Belfast's Lord Mayor, Arder Carson, said the city council has done as much as it can with the information provided.
Craigavon Mayor Darryn Causby said there are a number of issues they need clarified in order to ensure as smooth a transition as possible for refugees.
