Northern Ireland man dies after van rolls onto him at ATM machine in Larne
A man has died after being struck by a vehicle while withdrawing money from an ATM in Northern Ireland.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision on Main Street, in Larne, Co Antrim, on Wednesday, February 22.
Shortly before 8.25am it was reported that the man was withdrawing money when a blue coloured Vauxhall Vivaro van that was parked on the street is believed to have rolled back and struck him.
The 63-year-old victim was taken to hospital for treatment for a suspected fracture to his leg. However, he died on Thursday, February 23.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the van or the collision to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 189 of 22/02/17.
