Northern Ireland man drowns while on holiday in Bulgaria
Belfast man James Kelly drowned in Bulgaria earlier this week
A 25-year-old Belfast man has died while on holiday in Bulgaria.
James Kelly from the Shankill Road area of Belfast died while abroad with his partner.
It's understood he drowned in the Sunny Beach resort on the Black Sea on Wednesday after diving into the water.
His girlfriend raised the alarm, and tourists on the beach aided in the search for Mr Kelly.
But his body was later discovered by a specialist lifeguard boat.
It's believed members of Mr Kelly's family flew to Bulgaria on Thursday night.
DUP councillor Brian Kingston described the death as a "terrible tragedy".
