Northern Ireland man killed in Republic road crash
A Northern Ireland man has been killed in a crash in the Republic of Ireland.
The man in his 20s was from Omagh, County Tyrone.
He was the passenger in a car which hit a wall on the Station Road in Cootehill, County Cavan just before 6pm.
He died at the scene.
A second passenger in the car was airlifted to St James' Hospital in Dublin and the driver of the vehicle was taken to Cavan General Hospital.
