Northern Ireland weather live updates: High winds, but it's due to be warmer
Northern Ireland is set to continue to be battered by strong winds as the unsettled weather continues across the UK.
Brisk south-easterly winds last night were set to remain strong along with scattered heavy showers.
Some sunshine is expected today before the strong south-easterly winds return which will be particularly gusty along the coast.
The rest of the week is set to continue to be dry and windy. There are currently no weather warnings in place.

Meanwhile, parts of the UK were hit with snow after a severe weather warning was put in place as the freezing temperatures continued.
Heavy snow, rain and sleet hit the Pennine chain. A yellow warning had been put in place across north west and north east England.
But the mercury is expected to rise today as the icy conditions give way to slightly warmer temperatures.
