Nothing found amid Belfast alert


A security alert in south Belfast earlier this afternoon has ended.

A number of homes and businesses had been evacuated after initial reports of suspicious object found an alleyway at Kensington Street.

Businesses in Shaftesbury Square and Sandy Row were evacuated for a time.

Police have now said nothing suspicious was found.
