There is story time for under eights every Saturday at 11.30pm at Chichester Library. There will be rhythm and rhyme every Tuesday at 2pm at Ligoniel Library. The event is suitable for babies and toddlers that are accompanied by parents and carers. Ligoniel will also host story time every Friday at 3.30pm, which is suitable for under 10s. Glengormley Library will also be putting on a story time every Thursday at 3.30pm for children of primary school age. NEWTOWNABBEY THE BLUE-ICE DIAMOND The blue-ice diamond, is a story about greed, betrayal and theft and it is on at the Courtyard Theatre on June 12. It tells the story of Bonnie and Betty, two young sisters who have come back to the little town of Brownsville to avenge their father, and to get back their home which had been stolen by the Lord Mayor and his nasty wife Mildred. Katie lives with her aunt Lolly and often daydreams about travelling the world and becoming a pop-star. Her friend Peter calls round to see her with his travel book. Before Katie knows it, she is transported into a world of magic along with a cat, a dog, a bin and Peter. She visits all the places she’s dreamed of, although, not quite as she expected and ends up on the X Factor. Will this be what she dreamed of or will it end up a nightmare? For more information tel: 9034 0052. PHOTO EXHIBIT This year’s Image 10+ annual exhibition at Mossley Mill will feature images taken along the A2 from Belfast to Larne. The members of Image 10+ all live in places connected by the A2 It runs from June 7 to June 25. Many familiar sights will be seen in this exhibition, but there will probably also be sights that viewers won’t have seen before — taking the time to photograph a specific area allows you to see things you haven’t spotted before and to see the familiar in new and interesting ways.
