An Orange hall in Co Tyrone has been targeted by vandals in an overnight attack.

The vandals crashed through the gates at Aughintober Hall in Dungannon at around 2am on Saturday and used a hammer or other heavy object to damage the doors.

The attack on the property, which is on the Gorey Road, is the latest in an ongoing spate against Orange Halls across Northern Ireland.

In August, Bonn Orange Hall in nearby Pomeroy was gutted in a fire started by arsonists.

Police have appealed for information on the latest incident.
