Pair held over police murder bid

Two men have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of police in Northern Ireland.

Shots were fired at officers answering a call about a burglary in the Foxes Glen area of Dunmurry in West Belfast in May.

The suspects, aged 20 and 21, were detained this morning in Lisburn and taken to Antrim police station for questioning.
