Pedestrian injured in crash on Belfast's Lisburn Road

A female pedestrian has been injured after she was hit by a car on the Lisburn Road in Belfast on Sunday night.

The incident happened at around 10.30pm close to Tates Avenue.

Police and emergency services attended the scene.

The woman was taken to hospital and this morning police described her injuries as not life-threatening.

The road was reopened at around 1am.
