Pensioner dies after three vehicle crash in Lisburn
An 80-year-old man has died following a three vehicle crash in Lisburn.
It happened yesterday evening at approximately 5.15pm on the Carryduff Road near to the Tempo Golf Club.
Inspector Gary Jones said, “We are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal road traffic collision near to the Tempo Golf Club, at approximately 5.15 pm on 22nd May 2015.
"Tragically as a result of this collision an 80-year-old male passenger has died."
“I appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact police in Lisburn on 101.”
The road has been re-opened.
The pensioner's death brings the number of people killed on Northern Ireland's roads this year to 26.
