Peru drug arrests: Nutella and baby oil on duo's 'wish-list'
Michaella McCollum Connolly and Melissa Reid have drafted a "wish-list" of items they need for prison life – including Pringles crisps and baby oil.
The list, more suited for a sleepover than survival in a foreign jail, also includes Nutella hazelnut chocolate spread, croissants and moisturiser.
The pair – who could spend three years locked up awaiting trial – munched pizza as they wrote out items that they want brought to them.
The list was given to Reid's father Billy on Monday – before the women were charged with drugs trafficking.
Both face a maximum prison sentence of 15 years after they were arrested on suspicion of trying to smuggle cocaine worth £1.5m out of Peru.
The handwritten list – in pink and blue ink – comprises more than 30 items and was obtained by the Daily Mail.
Their demands include: waxing strips, moisturiser (they specify it must be Nivea), cornflakes, milk, bread, ham, toilet rolls and water.
They also request Oreos cookies, strawberry yoghurt – they specify it must be a big carton, and the pair also asked for orange juice, croissants and strawberry jam. Some of the demands are more obscure.
A "sports bra" and a pack of cards are also listed.
So, too, are Nature Valley oat and honey biscuits, Pot Noodles – they specify these should be green and orange variety – plus envelopes and stamps.
And in a sign that the women realise they are in for a long stay, they also requested a "Spanish learning book".
