Petrol bomb attack on north Belfast office

An office was targeted in a petrol and pipe bomb attack in north Belfast in the early hours of Sunday.

At around 1.30am, the windows of a building on the York Road were smashed and three petrol bombs thrown inside.

Two of the petrol bombs ignited causing scorch damage to a ground floor office before the blaze was extinguished by the Fire Service.

An unexploded pipe bomb was found at the scene; it was later made safe by Army bomb disposal officers and taken away for forensic examination.
