Petrol bomb thrown at Banbridge house

Police are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house in Northern Ireland.

The device was thrown at the rear bathroom window of the house at Golf Terrace in Banbridge.

The incident happened at about 7.30pm on Saturday night. Minor scorch damage was caused to the windowsill of the house, police said.

A man who has only recently moved into the house was not injured.

Police said they are working to establish a motive for the attack. They have appealed for witnesses.
