Pick your legend to be emblazoned on a bus
Two of these famous Belfast faces are to become even more well-known after Translink announced the shortlist for its Metro Legends campaign.
The public will decide which two celebrities will make it onto the side of its special pink double decker bus wrap.
Following a nomination period, the Metro Legends judging panel created a shortlist of six based on nearly 1,000 submissions for more than 70 people.
Voting is now open at the Translink website for the public to choose the winning pair.
The shortlist comprises Irish rugby captain Rory Best; Fifty Shades Of Grey and The Fall actor Jamie Dornan; champion boxer Carl Frampton; TV's Eamonn Holmes; Northern Ireland football manager Michael O'Neill, and Olympic golden girl Dame Mary Peters.
The judges were asked to choose individuals who had made a major impact in their respective fields, who had a connection to Belfast, and who had helped to promote a positive image of the city.
Political figures were ruled out by the organisers.
The Bus of Legends will be unveiled on June 6 during Translink's special Bus and Train Week.
Translink's Damian Bannon said the firm thanked everyone for taking part and looked forward to discovering the winners.
"There's been a fantastic response to the campaign and we'd like to thank everyone who nominated and those who joined the conversation on social media.
"Only the public can decide, and we'd encourage everyone who wants to celebrate our top local talent to have their say by taking a few seconds to make their online vote."
