Pictured: Belfast motorists in flap as swan lands on motorway during morning commute
You could set your watch on Belfast's morning commute traffic hotspots.
Nelson Street, Blaris, Sydenham and of course Sandyknowes all form the usual chorus of the not so melodic morning commute tune.
Except Monday the airwaves were filled with motorists urged to "exercise extreme caution" after a swan landed on the M2 out of Belfast.
"It was crazy," said business analyst Brendan Irwin from Glengormley, who was giving a lift to a friend into Belfast when he spotted the bird waddling up the carriageway.
The 28-year-old got his friend to snap the bird on the road.
"We spotted it near Thompson's feed factory, it was just out for a dander by the look of it," he said.
"There were two cars stopped with their hazards on and their drivers out trying to catch it. Traffic was really backed-up, it was just surreal."
The swan was soon captured and traffic returned to its normal routine on Monday morning.
