'Pipe bomb components' seized in dissidents probe
Suspected pipe bomb components have been seized by police investigating violent dissident republican activity.
The discovery was made during a search in the Fountain Street area of Strabane.
Police Service of Northern Ireland Superintendent Mark McEwan said the items had been taken away for forensic examination.
Earlier police said one man had been arrested in connection with dissident activity.
The man, 48, from Londonderry, was detained on Friday morning by detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch and was taken to Musgrave police station in Belfast for questioning.
Detectives also carried out searches in Londonderry.
