Pipe bomb explodes outside house

A pipe bomb has exploded outside a house in Co Down.

Damage was caused to the front door of the property at Martin Green, Shrigley, close to Killyleagh, after the device detonated.

Army bomb experts were called to the scene just after 2am.

There were no reports of any injuries.

A spokesman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has appealed for information.
