Police appeal after unknown woman makes approach to toddler

Police are appealing for information after an unknown woman made an approach to a two-year-old girl in west Belfast.

It happened at a shopping centre in the Kennedy Way area at around midday on Friday.

A women - said to be between 50 and 60 years old - approached a toddler sitting in a push chair outside a florist shop.

The mother of the child confronted her and she then left the area.

She is described as being of medium build with blonde hair, wearing a black coat and dark trousers and also with lots of gold rings.

Police are appealing for information.
