Police appeal over Belfast hit-and-run involving 10-year-old boy

Police have made an appeal for information after a 10-year-old boy was involved in a hit-and-run.

The boy was hit by a Vauxhall "jeep" type vehicle as he was crossing the road close to the entrance of Antrim Close at around 9.20pm on Sunday, September 25.

The motorist, described as being between 60 and 70 years old, stopped to check on the boy.

The boy was ok, however, the driver left the scene without giving his details or contacting police.

Police have asked for the driver, or anyone with information to contact investigating officers on the non-emergency number 101.
