Police arrest four men in Belfast drugs swoop

Four men have been arrested as part of a police operation against drug dealing.

Four suspects aged 24, 30, 40 and 54 were detained earlier in the Antrim Road area of Belfast.

A small quantity of heroin, cash and suspected false identity documents were also recovered.

The men are being questioned at a police station in the city centre.

Detective Inspector Andy Dunlop said: "Heroin is a deadly substance which devastates families and wrecks lives.

"Police are responding to community concerns about the incidence of this drug and are taking appropriate action."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
