Police discover several kilos of suspected cocaine in crashed van

Up to eight kilos of suspected cocaine has been found inside a crashed van in Co Fermanagh.

The drugs were discovered when police officers were called to an abandoned vehicle at Marble Arch Road, Enniskillen, on Thursday.

Detective Inspector Alan Pyper from the PSNI's reactive and organised crime branch said the suspected narcotics were being tested.

He said: "The suspected drugs are being analysed but we believe this could be between seven and eight kilos of cocaine.

"We are delighted to have recovered this quantity of illegal drugs and our inquiries are continuing to establish a quantity and value."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
