Police want to speak to this man in relation to a racist assault in north Belfast last year.

The assault happened in Parkmount Street on June 1, 2014.

Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak with in relation to the incident.

Detective constable Sam McCallum said:

"The brief background of the incident is that on the afternoon of Sunday June 1 last year, a 24-year-old male was firstly subjected to racist taunts outside his house in Parkmount Steet and then assaulted both outside and inside his house by two men.

"A 57-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested in relation to this incident but the investigation is continuing and we believe the man pictured may be able to assist us with our enquiries."
