Police officer arrested over investigation into PSNI vehicle contracts
A 54-year-old serving police officer has been arrested in connection with an investigation into the awarding of contracts for PSNI vehicles.
He was held on suspicion of misconduct in public office and has been taken to a police station in Belfast for questioning.
The arrest comes after seven others were held over an ongoing investigation into the awarding of vehicle contracts.
They have all since been released pending reports being prepared for the Public Prosecution Service.
