Police officers hurt in crash

Three police officers were taken to hospital after their vehicle was involved in a crash with a car in Co Fermanagh.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla car also required hospital treatment after the collision on the Boa Island Road near Kesh at around 12.45am.

None of the injuries is believed to be life threatening.

Two of the police officers have since been released from hospital, while the other officer and car driver continue to receive treatment.

The Boa Island Road remained closed to traffic this morning as a crash investigation continued.
