Police on the hunt for owner of lost goat found in Newcastle

Police are trying to track down the owner of a goat who was found wandering close to a park in Newcastle.

The goat was discovered near Donard Park on Monday morning.

In a post on Facebook, a police officer said: "He is being lovingly cared for in Bonny's Caravan park.

"We think he belongs to someone as he is wearing a thick Leather collar.

"Can you help us get him back to his family?"

The officer ended the post with a series of hashtags including, #‎GetOurGoatAHome‬, ‪#‎NeverADullDay‬ and #‎InNoOtherJob‬.
