Police probe after man shot in the leg in Londonderry

A 30-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being shot in the leg.

The attack happened at Corrib Court in the Ballymagroarty area of Londonderry at about 10.25pm on Wednesday.

Police say they believe paramilitaries were responsible.

Detective Inspector Conor McStravick has appealed for anyone with information to contact officers on 101.
