Police probing 'unexplained' death of man found dead at home

Police are trying to trace the last movements of a 24-year-old man who was found dead in his home.

Padraig O'Hanlon was found dead in his home in Warrenpoint, Co Down at 3am this morning, the Police Service of Northern Ireland said.

The cause of his death is not yet known and is being treated as "unexplained".

Police said a post mortem would be carried out in an attempt to determine how Mr O'Hanlon died.

Detective Sergeant Emme Wallace said: "Padraig was out yesterday morning and arrived home at about 4pm. He was found dead this morning.

"We are trying to trace his movements between 11am and 4pm yesterday to establish if anything happened in that period that may have a bearing on his death."

The PSNI urged anyone who was with Mr O'Hanlon yesterday or who saw him during the five hours to call the detectives on the 101 telephone line.
