Police release CCTV images of three men wanted in connection with south Belfast assault

Police have released CCTV images of three men they wish to speak to after a man was taken to hospital following an assault in south Belfast.

The attack happened  in the Ormeau Road area on Saturday May 30.

At approximately 7.45pm a man was in an off-licence when three men entered and assaulted him.

The 36-year-old required hospital treatment for his injuries which are not life-threatening.

Constable Paul Ferris said: “Anyone with any information about these images or the incident is asked to contact the Case Progression Team in Musgrave Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

"Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
