Portrush: Man's body found in Dunluce Road area

A post mortem is due to be carried out on the body of man found in Portrush, Co Antrim, on Sunday.

The discovery was made by a member of the public in the Dunluce Road area at around 9am.

A post mortem is scheduled to take place on Monday morning to determine how the man died.

Chief Inspector Mark McClarence said: “At this time the cause of death is unclear and as such the Dunluce Road will remain closed between Skerries caravan park and Ballybogey Road until after the post mortem tomorrow morning.”

Police said they will not be releasing any further details at this time.
